Ways to Take Action
Advocate for the mission to END DV by liking and sharing FavorHouse posts on Facebook and Instagram. Sharing these resources with your circle can help someone learn how to safely leave an abusive relationship.
Organize your own awareness event or fundraiser. Hosting a fundraiser is a great way to raise awareness along with funding to support the programs that provide intervention, empowerment, and prevention to domestic violence victims in Escambia and Santa Rosa.
Attend a FavorHouse Event, such as our Pet Walk to End DV or Take Action Luncheon. Invite a friend or family member to join you in your support. The 2024 Pet Walk to End DV is a $25 donation to register your pet for the walk. Spectators are welcome! The Take Action luncheon is a free event that features a panel of survivors telling their stories of hope and healing. Take Action luncheon guests will light a candle symbolizing their pledge to be the light in the darkness for someone experiencing domestic violence by sharing the resources that FavorHouse provides to help people build a life free from abuse.
