Donations have a direct impact on FavorHouse’s delivery of services. From serving victims and their families in and out of shelter, to counseling and support for domestic violence education and prevention programs, FavorHouse could not serve the community without your support.

FavorHouse shelters and crisis lines are staffed 24 hours a day, year round. Victims, their families and those who are assisting them may call for help at any time.

There are many ways to support FavorHouse other than nominal donations. FavorHouse utilizes donations to assist residents/clients in need. Drop donations off during business hours to either the Pensacola or Milton office locations.

Internet Alert: Your abuser may be monitoring your Web activities. If your abuser has access to this computer, you may want to consider moving to a secure computer.

Victim Safety

If you have been thinking about leaving the person who batters you, you may want to put some important things together in case you have to leave quickly. Keep these items in a bag or backpack stored at a neighbor's, at a relative's, or in your car.

•   Driver's License or other form of identification
•   Birth Certificate and health records for you and children
•   Money
•   Credit cards, check book
•   Health insurance Cards
•   Car and house keys
•   Medications
•   Social Security cards for you and children
•   Restraining Order
•   Several Changes of clothes, but no more than one suitcase per person
•   Citizenship papers if applicable
